The news is false, go the famitsu link, it's not Hironobu Sakaguchi, it's Sakaguchi from the Japanese marketing branch of Microsoft.

Correct. It's Joji Sakaguchi, Microsoft's director of Xbox marketing in Japan.

well, now we know we cannot trust game reviewers from New Zealand!
when you read that news, it does seem strange:
"He further talks about Xbox 360 bundles that will be releasing in Japan including the new Xbox 360 Elite Value Pack with Lost Planet 2.
Sakaguchi seems pleased as to what Microsoft has accomplished thus far in 2010. With the release of the Game Room, the USB Mass Storage Flash Drive option, and with Natal coming this fall, he is confident that Microsoft will succeed."
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
:((((((((
So...No Lost Odyssey 2???
(Still can't believe Microsoft helped make such a great contribution to the gaming world with Mistwalker. That and less amazing the GTA4 DLC)
