An Elite costing the same as a Wii, and the Arcade Model cheaper than a DSi. WTF!!!??

Is it a summer move by Microsoft or my country is getting a random promotion?

Anyone from the UK or somewhere else in Europe can confirm this?

Here in the Netherlands the Arcade is €149, but the elite is still €249-€299 depending on the bundle.

Its been cheaper than the Wii for ages here. An Elite costs 1800-1900NOK in most stores (bundle with two games) and a Wii costs 1900-2200 (the latter is the Black Wii though which contains a lot more and is a better deal imo).

I checked on Amazon.co.uk- Elite is £185.00 thats very cheap. Arcade is £150.00. PS3 120gb is £250. Thats a huge difference.

Currys has the arcade for £79.99 at the moment.
