that's old school but I always (like 95%) unplug it.

I had the the exact same problem a couple of weeks. I just changed the fuse in the power plug and it started to work. I should have just done it your way though, seems like the proper fix.

You can tell that almost all the Wii owners in this thread are old enough to have lives and wives from the tenor of the conversation.

That is not the case always with other consoles.

That is what makes the Wii so different.
