I really wanted a black Wii at launch, but I won't be switching colors anytime soon. All my VC games are locked to my current Wii!

Nintendo better have some sort of plan laid out to transfer all our downloaded games to a new console next gen. If they had gone with a unified online structure like Sony and Microsoft, they could've just tied everything to your account.

Nope.  From what I understand, Nintendo is willing to do it for you if you send them both consoles.  Or so I've heard on gaf.

All I want is a black balance board. My nasty feet get that thing dirty.

That case-mod with the red light looks really sexy and evil though.

With VC games locked to individual consoles, the consoles themselves not so easily swapped.

Nintendo should probably come up with a better solution that "mail us both your consoles" if that's even true.

Fortunately the Wii rarely fails. Too bad though; it's a good bundle.

Well I will be getting the black one since I have never bought a wii. I have been waiting for it to accumulate more games that cater to the hardcore and now nintendo has them with titles like metroid other m, the last story, xenoblade, zelda wii, mario galaxy 2 etc on the horizon.

When there's a choice I will always get the shiny/glossy black because I just like the color.  That's why I would never trade in my 60gb ps3 phat for a slim it just looks so much better in my opinion and has better features like full backwards compatibility with the ps2 and ps1.

black one looks awesome, but it's pointless to buy another one

I know my girlfriend would like one, so the black one is probably the one we will get. Although, I'm not sure if we'll just wait for the next Nintendo console with HD at this point.
