I heard a rumor about syphom filter from thehiphopgamershow on YouTube that it was supposed to be in the works but the ps3 version. I YouTube his channel! Anyway if he is right than sony is probably doing these to get ppl hyped for the next game but on ps3.


By the way good idea with the psp2 and ps2 companility

Thanks! Yeah, my dream machine includes ps2(.5?!) level graphics, trophy support, dual analogs, a good infrastructure for online matches, HDMI out so you can play it on the big screen and connect a dualshock to it via bluetooth. I may not need a home console if I could get that.

actually the PSP is stronger than the PS1... so really the PSP2 would better fit between the PS2 and PS3 in strength. If they use a mini-powerPC 7 cpu or something along those lines it will be good.

I don't think graphics will matter much for a handheld.. DS clearly showed that.. so I think they should focus on selling a highly profitable product that offers something idfferent from other gaming handhelds.

There's no evidence here only wishfull thinking.
And I don't get it why people want twin analogs so badly when the analog on psp is so rubbish.

But think about this: Let's say that Sony is getting ready to make a new portable unit with PS2 level graphics and dual analog sticks, why not actually stick it on the PS2 right now and make a couple hundred thousand dollars?
