Ok I changed my mind I'm voting Lib Dem now

in 4 hours I'll be voting Labour.

Maybe I shouldn;t vote!!!!

I wouldn't let the antics of VGC sway your position on these sort of things.

Pretty surprised labour is so far bck. i'm voting for conservatives.

Vote change. Vote conservative.

Really? People in the UK must have really short memories coz when the torys were in power they pretty much raped the country. Can't beleive that anyone in the UK with a working class back ground could possibly want them back in power.

That logic makes about as much sense as not voting Lib Dem because Lloyd-George was a Liberal, and he negotiated a Treaty of Versailles which made Germany angry but let it survive and indirectly led to WWII.

Because, see, I wasn't aware that Thatcher and Lloyd-George were running in this election. Have you listened to Cameron? He's left of Brown!

I utterly abhor partisan politics so I'm not gonna say what party should or shouldn't win. But that statement you make is pretty incredulous in any real sense. The Conservative party is fundamentally incapable of having a policy agenda that is left of Labour, hence the relative ideological colour of the respective leaders is largely irrelevant (the PM has a measure of influence over the ideological direction of policy, but policy is set by a much broader crosss section of the party which would tend to drag the leader's personal prefereneces more towards the party's centre which means left-ish for Labour and right-ish for the Conservatives). It's also likely that Cameron is only left of Brown up to election day. After election day (assuming the Conservatives get the majority) Cameron's colours will probably turn a distinct shade of blue. Remember GWB's compassionate conservatism, what happened to that?

Anyway Conservative / Labour doesn't really matter. None of the parties have a clue about how to fix the important problems because the major socio-economic problems are global in nature but each country is trying to sort the global shit out imagining that putting in place national solutions will do the trick.

Oh yeah, polling on XBL (or any other console online service) isn't anonymous, so while this poll is pretty harmless just remember that you are / can be watched if you start answering polls of a different nature.

Okay, left of Brown is a bit of a hyperbole.

But he's sure as hell left of Thatcher, on both scales. Cameron wants to:

-Keep the 50% tax rate

-Scrap the National Insurance rise (which he keeps annoyingly referring to as the jobs tax)

-Increase NHS funding every year by more than inflation

-Have equality of race, gender and sexual orientation

-Increase funding for pretty much everything in the public sector.

He'll probably go a little right after becoming PM, that's to be expected. And welcomed, to be honest.

LOL, you actually believe this "change" rubbish ..

They're just nicking that from Obama's campaign because it did him well.

Which party is promising gay marriage?

Noo idea, all I know is I hate Cameron's face so I'm not voting for him. I swear he's had botox ....

Gordon Brown, on the other hand, is a very attractive man.

Conservatives for change, wtf? Have you been getting drunk with Kantor and wearing Kantie-panties out to town?

Believe me- in a country as socialist in England, the Conservatives are change.

Which is a little backwards, given their name, but there you go. Of course, the current Conservative Party bears about as much resemblance to the Old Tories as Bush Jr. to Abraham Lincoln.

Seriously, though, have a look at the websites, or do the Telegraph quiz:

I just gave my postal vote to my son. He voted lib dem.

Well done on teaching your son how to commit postal voting fraud

On another note, the Conservative party needs to keep a closer eye on its party members, especially those contesting seats. Stuff keeps leaking into the press about their strange beliefs/activities such as this one woman who was trying to 'cure' gays.

lib dems get the student vote, mostly for the student fees stuff. That 'other' rating kinda worries me
