Forums - Nintendo - 50 hours of Monster Hunter Tri

I like to do self challenges after beating games, like beating a stage without damaege, without powerups and such. You might try it out. There are also some interesting things to do in MH3 in this video, you should try it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0

Above: still the best game of the year.

you are going to die horrible deaths pretty soon online if you think armor doesn't matter =P and stop playing with people that take 30 minutes to complete a quest lol ><; also, start paying attention to armor bonuses or gem slots from equips, it will matter, before 4 star online, the game is pretty much a big tutorial, assuming you can survive 3.

If you think the remaining half of monsters are going to be copies of earlier fights you're in for a painful surprise, online quests are even different from offline quests much later on particularly fights where you're being tag teamed by multiple great beasts, as for the end game boss, good luck to anyone who gets to him he's a top tier target even among the Elder Dragons (MH series super bosses.

I have a feeling MH Tri G will be announce at the end of the year as all console MH games eventually get version G at some point.

Agreed in online mode things really kick off later on.

lol stupid deviljo always shows up during peco quests, I even have his tail in my bag, think I got it at HR40 or so grouping with a bunch of crazy people that wanted to see if we could take it down, and in theory, we can, but his breath can one shot people without good dragon protection at that level so.... only got his tail and one other part lol.... HR45 atm and I think I can start grouping for Altraeon at 46, that's gonna be fun hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe.

Heh, PSO was more repititive than this by a good space, especially if you cheated like i did, but i still put in so much time on PSO I and II for GC. It was just that kind of game, even when you had all the best items, it was just fun to play.

This game is similar, except without the cheating i'm doing most of the item hunting that i should have done back in the PSO days. I could waste the whole summer on this game, and enjoy it.

In fact, this summer is looking to be pretty epic.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Why don't you blow up some rocks? Its quite obvious there are hidden paths in the island area.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Here you go http://www.wikihow.com/Overcome-an-MMORPG-Addiction

Now you understand the power of the darkside and it's allure.

That's absolutely not needed. I can never become really addicted to such a game, because I get bored way before that could happen. I don't even start playing MMORPGs because they look so boring.

Sorry, I didn't get the humor across right. Your already showing signs of leaving the addiction. Not surprising I find myself under the same condition. Too much repetition starts to become glaring and boring as hell. But I enjoy the multiplayer aspects of big fights very fun. I would be in heaven if they made a cross between SoC and MH multiplayer. but make gear gaining much easier. I could play for a very long time.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

You just convinced me to stay away from this game.
