Have anyone checked the source for Green Peace's information? Apparently all the information they gathered are just from Nintendo's website: http://www.nintendo.com/corp/faq.jsp#environment

You can see this with the "more information" in the pdf. While I support a green environment, but do some research at least.

So now they are not only killing gaming. They are killing Earth too.

Point made my NJ5, Wii has the least power consumption of all the next gen consoles. Why isn't that taken into account? That is a HUGE thing.

We all know that Nintendo is secretive on everything, OF COURSE they don't give information on anything, but that isn't something we have ever used to determine Nintendo's worth, and neither should this study.

This is a very highly flawed report, basing its findings on the grounds of no information, and it's using Nintendo getting a Zero as a way to get attention. If there is no information, then you can't do an accurate study.

I am pro Greenpeace, and was about to suggest an e-mail campaign to get Nintendo to take it seriously, but sheesh. Ranking them low is probably a technique to get the companies to provide the data.

The bottom ranks are all new to the report, so they should definitely use a N/A on new companies. Let's see where those companies rank on later reports.

Seriously, either get the data yourself (and not from Nintendo's website!) or leave them out of the report. Unfortunately, this was a big waste of everyone's time and another episode of "How to Lie with Statistics."

So out of the 3 console manufactures Sony is the greenest. Thats odd. Would have expected after WalMart complained to all electronics companies to go green or else they wont sell their products Nintendo would have went green. Would be nice if Walmart would enforce what they say. Forcing all the companies to go more green would be a good thing.

I think we all need to stop laughing at this and realize its an actual problem. Even if the majority of the complaints stem from Nintendo's decision not to cooperate, that alone is a fault.

Rather than laugh at the issue, we should applaud Sony both for doing more than the average company on the environmental front, and encourage Nintendo to do more, even if that simply means "provide information to environmental protection agencies."

This isn't saying Nintendo is evil, it's just asking for improvement in an arena where they apparently aren't keeping up.  

In addition, in other news, Nintendo sued Green Peace for Libel and Defamation of character...however, we cannot confirm this do to the fact that Nintendo had declined comment and Greenpeace are all hugging trees

they probably didn't really have the personnel to respond in a timely manner, but no matter, nintendo definitely should have responded.

They're too busy counting all the money they're making by producing the highest selling systems on the market.
