Than the Xbox? Certainly.

Than the PS2? Hardly.

 

There was the Gameboy advance at the same time, remember? Probably most of Nintendo profits from that time came from it.

No, I'm actually pretty sure that Nintendo made more money with the Gamecube than Sony did with the PS2.

lol and people actually thought nintendo was going to stop producing hardware and go into software when the gamecube was a flop when they were actually making more money then sony.

How many gamecubes sold like 30m or something like that?

Maybe not... There are certain divisions of ownership, so some of the pokemon revenue may go elsewhere.

Low 20 millions, I think.

Someone will give the correct number, but I believe it's 21 millions.

I don't even wanna know how much pokemon made during the golden days where everything was Pokemon! It's probably more than 5.5 billions, I believe.

Youcan bet more than half of the 140 million PlayStation 2 out there are modded, therefore giving Sony painful money cleaner.  In fact, PS2 was the console which most cost to the developer, and GameCube was the only one among three being profitable (as Xbox was also greatly modded by owners).
