Two words: ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
BTW, I've been really enjoying Mitsuda's recent score to Arc rise Fantasia, so here's hoping that he and Shimomura (Kingdom hearts) can deliver a similarly lovely score.
Chrono and Kingdom Hearts = great musical combination!
OMG YES!!!!!
Though truthfully, I would have preferred Mitsuda compose the entire game by himself.

Well then at least Mitsuda has some involvement.
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."
The more I listen to Shimomura's works, the more I think she's one of the very best VGM composers. I imported "drammatica" about a month ago and I can't stop listening to it. By far the best arrange album I've heard so far. Fantastic, epic music.
My favourite Mitsuda work atm is the OST for Soma Bringer. Arc Rise Fantasia seems to be great as well (I received the CD box only yesterday), but according to the booklet he "only" composed 21 out of the 71 pieces (two small Shimomura compositions are on the ARF OST as well). As I really liked his Soma Bringer music, I recently ordered Xenogears and Xenosaga and hopefully will get them soon.
In short: Xenoblade is very high on my watchlist of this year's OST releases (along with The Last Story, Ninokuni, FFXIII and Nier).
ACE+ could probably have something to do with these guys: http://vgmdb.net/artist/6508 (just a guess).

Some very talented people are working on this game
Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?
Seems like this game will have awesome music if we asume they wont dissapoint which Im almost sure they wont.

Nintendo could u please just take my money and give me back my 3DS?!
They even have a confirmation for the soundtrack album release--something I haven't seen for a Nintendo-published game in a long time, much less one for Wii.
