Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo games that are BAD games!

I agree that hating on Zelda II deserves a ban. That game has everything, even ERROR. You can turn into a fairy. What's not to like?

What was the deal with that again?  I think it was supposed to be Errol... like in Errol Flynn?

Zelda II and Yoshi's Story aren't bad games, they're just bad for a Nintendo game. I still like them, though they are kind of weak. But bI absolutely love the music of Yoshi's Story. As you said, it's incredibly cute.

I do have to agree with other people and say Wii Music is TERRIBLE. It should be something Miyamoto should try to forget. I'm also not too fond of Starfox Assault. I loved Adentures but Assault felt to third person shooter for my liking.

This.  I also want to say that Mario 2 was not a bad game (even though it was a rip off of some other game I can't remember the name of).

Doki Doki Panic

And actually it was not a rip off, it was (mostly) the same game - only the characters were replaced by Mario and his friends!

In defense of Wii Music, if you have small kids at home it is a great deal of fun... The Conduit was disappointing... good engine, fun weapons, lackluster level design, dull story, really slow to connect for multiplayer.

Hey and welcome to the site - and to the thread!

I didn't liked the conduit too, very bland and lacked style! But it is a Sega game, this is about Nintendo and almost Nintendo (rare, hudson, etc) games only!

PS. Don't hate Zelda II, you'll be killed here!

Are you for real??

Yeah I kinda threw up a little in my mouth when I read that.  But we shouldn't really pay attention to theprof00.  Once he said that all video games in the 80s were shallow and gimmicky.

That's one of the 2 theories.

The other theory is that the two friends in the game are Bug and Error, but they forgot to translate Bug and left him with the Japanese pronunciation of "Bagu."  So in the English version the two friends are Bagu and Error and nobody gets the joke.

I'm not sure if anybody ever confirmed which one was the case.

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-am-error I found this page to confirm it, and found some great Error-inspired pictures.  Like this one:

This fan art alone makes Zelda 2 one of the best Nintendo games ever. Pure classic. Both the game and the picture.

please tell me that someone has mentioned Star Fox Adventures???? that was so bad I couldnt give it away

For BAD games, nothing comes to my mind....for mediocre games yes there are, like all those mario-sports games made on gamecube (I've played mario strikers and tennis, not mario golf), they were useless in single player, quite good in multiplayer but not very exciting.
Wii sports has a very good idea, but in terms of prodution quality is mediocre in my opinion, the same goes for wii play and wii music but Wii sport resort and Wii fit are much better.
