Here's the full version of the live action trailer.  It's done beautifuly.  When is Microsoft gonna make that Halo movie happen?  These live action trailers are such a tease as to what a kickass movie they could make!

You can also watch it on XBL. I'm not sure if it's in the regular marketplace, but I watched it on "Halo Waypoint". Excellent video and it's getting me hyped up for Reach!

cool, I haven't checked Live yet but can you actually download it yet? Or just watch it through Waypoint?

I just checked again right now and you can DL the regular version of Birth of a Spartan on the video marketplace. To watch the extended cut you have to stream it through Waypoint. (so the quality isn't as good as the DL version, still much better than the youtube version though)

we really need a Halo movie. Seriously.

We had

• FarCry
• Max Payne
• Resident Evil (dozens of them)
• Doom
• Prince of Persia
• Final Fantasy
• and some more I just forgot.

but the by far biggest and most epic universe in the gaming industry has not been filmed yet (anime does not count)

well this is whats holding it back,

The script is written, but disagreements over distribution rights have repeatedly sent this project in and out of pre-production. Some of those involved have said the project is "dead", but Peter Jackson, the executive producer, continues to claim that this film will get made. In other words it's on hold.

The best thing about this movie is peter jackson is still on board and he wont let others mess it up. You guys do know district 9 was their first shot at doing the movie. It just fell apart so Peter gave 30 mill out of his pocket to Neill Blomkamp (pardon spelling, D9 director) and they recycled some of the stuff that were for halo.
