Nintendo's Software!?!

i am talking about the Hardware not the games.

It just seems silly to me too compare just the hardware.  From that perspective one might think the Wii is lacking compared to the 360 and PS3.  Not to mention that hardware is simply a way to experience the software.  Even if we do include software it's not like the M$ or $ony have shown anything that compares yet so Wiimote still has a leg up.

wtf man , i am talking about the Wiimote not the Wii , the device not the games, why is it silly? do you compare Dualshocks and 360 controllers by their games?

This may not be what you mean but, the Dualshock is way better for fighting games and the 360 controller is better for FPS (IMO of course)

I believe the Wii Remote's IR pointer to be more precise for shooters than the PS Move. You can tilt the Wii Remote and it will perceive the change by checking the angle of the two IR sources in the Wii remote's camera. If you tilt the PS Move, the shinning ball will barely move in the camera eye. Thus, the PS Move will need larger movements to register you aim.

PS3 can use the accelerometer to account for angle, so this isn't such a big deal imo.  The real problem with PS3's pointer solution is lag, comparing RE4 Wii to the RE5 Move demo makes it pretty apparent, to the point where Move may not be ideal for fast paced arcade shooters like Time Crisis or HotD.  There were evidently lag issues with Sony's The Shoot demo as well, so it's probably not a prototype issue...

I doubt accelerometers shift will be as precise as trigonometric difference. We'll see soon enough. There was too much lag in the PS Move demo, but I think it is fair to wait for the final product.

I love hearing whose virtual racket is making contact with the ball in a 4-player round of Wii Sports Tennis. I also loved the "secret sound" in Twilight Princess coming out of my hand. The phones in Red Steel 1 and No More Heroes 1 were awesome too, and the chainsaw in MadWorld. It was even cool as a geiger counter in one of the crappy minigames in Rayman Raving Rabbids. More people should use it in clever ways.

It's a great way to use some really cheap tech to add just another small layer of immersion. Nintendo's always been great at thinking sideways like that.

Yes.  If I were a fan of shooter software then I would have purchased a 360 as the bumpers feel good for FPS.  However I like fighters and platformers which the D-pad on DS3 is better for.  They are devices made to play games and even the comments from many people in the thread so far have been about how well said feature was integrated into software not about the hardware itself.

why bother.
