@ Darth: You DONT want 3D for Gran Turismo? Of all the genres and franchises Sony has, 3D would be of most benefit to that game. You could get a true perspective and it'd help you judge speed and angle better.

3d only during cutscenes is weird, because then you have to pause it. *glasses on* resume.
But it would be cool if they had a movie theatre with the movies in 3D (but that isn't really a very good motivator for them to make it in 3D) (And offtopic they should have had a movie theatre in FFXIII like they did in ffX, unless they did. And I just missed it)
But, Nintendo, games would be aweseome, as they're colorful, however. Wouldn't the wii games have to be half res 480p D:? Or maybe they could make a wii 3D. I'd buy that! actually and I didn't even by my wii, my mom won it in a contest and gave it to me :D.

No unless goggles can be made comfortable to use.
The ones I had on in Avatar were really uncomfortable
I cannot lay 10 hour endurance races with goggles on!

They could have a symbol saying put goggle on before each CGI scene

I cannot do, the endurance races at all. Unless I use the rubber band technique :D on the tracks it works with ::P
However, remember, some of these cutscenes, are like 15-30 seconds long, Obviously the long ones would be cool, but I think it would disrupt me D:.
maybe the solution for you, is to just make better goggles. I think some people already have expensive 3d glasses :D

Games I would like to see in 3D:
WarioWare
Kirby (Specifically a new Canvas Curse or Pinball)
Paper Mario (think about it...a story about a 2D 'paper' game breaking the third dimension...it writes itself)
Dragon Quest Swords (if the next Nintendo Console had 3D + Motion controls)
Games I don't want 3D:
Zelda (Doesn't need it, it would just be a graphical enhancement)
Pokemon (as we've seen, they're not doing anything with it)
Metroid
Pretty much anything else until we've confirmed it can improve gameplay beyond simple visual effects or mini-games
