No unless goggles can be made comfortable to use.
The ones I had on in Avatar were really uncomfortable
I cannot lay 10 hour endurance races with goggles on!

But it would be better than putting on annoying goggles during the whole game
They could have a symbol saying put goggle on before each CGI scene
