Man, everything took a nosedive these last few weeks.

Well the numbers are looking a little low there. Expected a little more than that.

HD consoles taking a plunge worldwide but still seeing to the Wii losing marketshare every week and bit by bit. PSP is pitiful but the DS seems to be on a roll as of late (again, it went somewhat down compared to the Wii in parts of Q1).

What's the average PSP get's in japan these day's. Is it viable to think come summer, PSP could dip below 60k WW?

I wonder how long before retailers start to consider dropping the PSP. 18K in hardware and low software sales doesn't really help its cause.

Assassin's Creed 2 on PS3 also outselling the 360 version comfortably, despite much smaller install base, which adds further credence to my theory that Playstation gamers are bigger on the adventure genre.
