1.1m first week WW and 5.5m lifetime on both platforms. Meta around 90.

I hope this game will do incredibly well, it has so much potential, first real "open world" open world. So WW combined 1+m and LTD combined 6+m.

Well RPGs are a different case than action games, and Red Dead is first sandbox open world game set in rural enviroment.

I predict this game will contain epic amounts of awesome.

On the 360, it will struggle to reach 2.25 million, which I doubt it will clear.
Rockstar games seem attached to the Sony brand, so it may eventually reach 2 million on there.

If you want my brutally honest opinion of what will happen: 360= 1.88m, PS3- 1.62m

I, like an earlier poster said, did not even KNOW about this game until recently (2 days ago in fact) watched some trailers for it yesterday... went to EB and bought(prepaid) for it today :)

Looks very good, but I fear I will get bored of it and not finish it, it is the only game I got today which I have my doubts on (still haven't finished the last GTA or other sandbox type games)

I will definitely finish the other 4 I bought, (Reach, Fable 3, MNR and Alan Wake) :)

OT: 400k for PS3 1st week and 350k for 360 (same day as Alan Wake... come on...)
