Well, the Playstation 3 has finally hit 6 million units sold! Surprisingly, the gap between it, and the Xbox 360, is closing in, but the Wii is still outselling the competition, by far. The Playstation 3 now holds up 18% of the console market place. It wasn't too long ago when it varied from 16.9%-17.2%.
So....the 360 is about to hit 14 million in a couple of weeks.
Congrats to the PS3! I guess.....
I'd have to agree with Soriku's sentiments.
The PS3 was stuck in the 5 million zone for a loooooooooong time.

Hooray for the PS3. 6 million happy customers and counting.
5 bucks says the PS3 hits 7 million before the 360 hits 14.
My prediction of 8 million is looking better and better.

We sorta celebrated this last week, and already then agreed it isn't a number worth celebrating. I mean 5 and 10 and 15 are cool, but 6 isn't that interesting. Kinda like your 19th birthday. =P
Don't know if it can go all the way up to 8 mil byt then end of the year but still a great achievement

I'd gladly take that bet (going from current VGC numbers). I doubt you did the maths on that one ;)
