Right now on Xbox Live Halo 3 has got 77,349 physically active players. Compared to MW2's 39,300. ( If you ask how I know, just put both games in )

When Reach Beta hits, what do you think Halo 3's numbers will go down to. 16,000 active. 4,000 active. Or more?

I seriously doubt MW2 only has 39,000. Last night at this time it had 400,000.

Must have been a bad time for MW2. 39,000 is a pretty damn low amount of people for a game that has sold over 10M on the 360 alone.

lol mw2 on ps3 has like 300 000 a night i doubt xbox has less users seeing as its sold like 2 million more

i think the mw2 number is off and it does seem irreverent to the topic. I think the number will got down to around 25-30k because there are a lot of people who still play halo 3 but haven't bothered to buy odst.

I think you mean 390,300 people on MW2.  But yeah the amount of people playing Halo 3 will go down drastically when the beta comes out next Monday.

w/e the numbers say, I'll say 39,000 will be permanent once Reach comes out, even the beta should blow by MW2 until its over, and the full-game itself I hope does much better then MW2, looks like a thriller killer to play rather then camping and glitching in MW2 :P

Also the Bungie number is the same this morning. LOL. But yeah Bungie say it's like 400,000+ so major typo stuff going on. LOL.
