This includes both consoles and portables. (I'm only doing USD).  Also for the fun of it how many launch game titles do you expect?

3DS: $199 (20 games)

PSP2: $299 (14 games)

PS4: $399 (bundled w/ MOVE)  (15 games)

XboxIII: $399 (bundled w/NATAL)  (15 games)

WiiHD: $249 (again)  (17 games)

Launching handheld with the price of 299$ would be almost suicide.

I doubt Nintendo will go above Wii launch price.... they stuck pretty firm charging $200 for so long before the Wii.

well if they improve the software and possibly make it using next gen software the production price will be high. if they use the software of this gen then the launch price will not exceed the 200s.

They will not go above $400 most likely, thats between Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo will most likely not go above $299.

You guys are smoking if you think Sony has learned anything from this gen and pricing their hardware. PS4 will be at least $500 starting. Xbox's sucessor will probably be about the same price, maybe $50 cheaper at most. And the Wii2 will continue Nintendo's tradition of being nice and cheap. Another $250 starting price.

Hmm... No idea on handhelds but i will say what i think for consoles.

Super Wii - $300

This relies on if it has the "Wii" name in it. They will want to milk it for as much as they can, they know it will fly off shelves on the "Wii" name, and thus will want to make as much profit as possible. Plus, it leaves more room for pricecuts if needed.

Nextbox - $400

PS4 - $400


I only felt like i needed to justify it for the Wii.

the main reason why sony is third is because of the wii, their is its big price tag but it didnt do as much damage as the wii. also i'm sure that the xbox will be more expensive why?

the ps3 is currently the most advanced console software wise. hence sony doesn't have to do a lot of investments or drastically improve the software of the ps4 since they will already have and used the technology which it's competitors will be using. hence the production price of the PS4 will be dropping, and with blu rays sales sky rocketing i think that sony will make the lose gap btw the prodcution cost and price of the ps4 bigger then the one of the ps3. hence an overall cheaper console.
