Forums - PC - I bought a TOP PC, need help choosing games.. help

Thanks and sorry about my terrible english:

Hi all! I just bought a Top PC, too expensive  :( I know people here will start bashing me for that, but I wanted all that just because some features of the motherboard, gamming and a add to my music studio...

I used to play in a Athlon XP4000 939 (not x2..), x800xt allin wonders... 6 years with that machine... now I got this i7 860 + ati XFX 5870 1gbddr5, font xfx650w, ASROCK P55 Deluxe3 LGA1156 .. plus V8 cooler.. I am searching for a good case and good monitor..

Why I need help... I wanna taste the fury of this system... what games do you recommend.

I already have: Quake Wars, Flight Simulator X, Fallout 3 (play on my note)...

What should I buy?

Other minor questions: Monitor: 5ms or 2ms? makes diference?

Dragon Age or Crysis. Depends on the game genres that you like.

try Crysis. rare to find a pc with enough muscle to play it at full 100% specs.

well if you just want to see what your rig can do obviously Crysis would be the way to go but I can reccomend Metro 2033 it has it's flaws but still a good game + it's DX11 lol same for S.T.A.L.K.E.R: call of pripyat other than that just read some reviews and watch some gameplay on youtube and buy what you like

In terms of best graphics, Crysis. If you want to do something with your computing muscle other than pure eye candy, then I recommend Mount and Blade. It's an rpg typa game where you command the general of an army, in battles you control your own character and give orders to the soldiers - very fun

The main game limits you to about 150 people on screen at once, but you can get a mod that expands this limit to 10 000. Medieval warfare including awesome seiges and cavalry charges with 5000 soldiers a side!

Humm, Crisis, Metro 2033, Mass Effect 2.. and about a game from HALO or GoW?

Mount and blade I will get a better look at it.. ;)

thanks :) I accept more obs and recommendations :)

Left 4 Dead 2 is only $20 on Steam, and comes with free DLC. Get it.

No, definitley not.

Obviously you should try Crysis to see how good it can look; also, it's not a bad game, I liked it very much except for story. Some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game could also work. Personally I also recommend Titan Quest even though it's not that new - it's a very enjoyable Diablo clone.

Supreme Commander? Sins of a Solar Empire? Civilization IV, definitely. Half-Life 2 and its Episodes? Dragon Age: Origins? Company of Heroes? A free turn-based strategy game, Battle for Wesnoth is good, doesn't require a powerful computer (but a great game to try anyway). Deus Ex (old but still worth a try)? Far Cry? Total War series?
