He was seriously emo. Heroes in RPGs defy the odds all the time, but I doubt such a little bitch as Squall would have had the fighting spirit needed to survive a mortal wound.

If you don't like the draw system, then why not gain magic through another method? Personally, I usually just use refining.

Not sure if serious... but Squall was really just 'emo' in the first few hours of the game. Honestly, most of his quotes made a lot of sense later on. It's pretty much his rational thinking against Rinoa's intense feelings and stuff.

Also, the battle system, I wuv it. o_O

Oh, I'm serious. He actually curled up on his bed and cried about how he didn't want to depend on others. That's not just emo, that's emo !

I'm actually willing to say that Squall is the reason emo became mainstream... he was like the breakout kid for emo's..

It was Weezer. Squall isn't really emo, emo requires glasses and a strong attachment to punk music.
