Excluding the old school mario games, I gotta go with:

Super Mario Galaxy just bearly over New Super Mario Brothers.

I Expect Galaxy 2 will trump them both however.

The best of the best is still Super Mario World

But I love most of them- Mario 2, or doki doki panic, is out of my list though.

As you can tell, i prefer 2d mario than 3d mario - but it's like preferring a gorgeous red head over a gorgeous blond.
