This comes from the supposed Twitter account of Matt Casamassina...

Leaving IGN tomorrow. Going to miss it. Excited to start as Apple's global games editorial manager, App Store, though. Brand new chapter!

I know that Matt is indeed a big fan of Apple, so this isn't a big surprise. I don't want to mark it 100% true until I can confirm this account as belonging to Matt. Thanks toCoffeewithChess for the heads up!

Follow up!!

Anybody who has read my work through the years will know that I’ve long been a huge Nintendo fan, but if there is one company that could entice me away from covering Mario and Zelda it’s the one owned by Steve Jobs. Beginning early May, I will join Apple as global editorial games manager, App Store. In a nutshell, I will be leading the charge for games on the App Store, so whether you browse through iTunes, iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, the games content you see will be handpicked and organized by me and my team. I couldn’t be happier.

He had already been removed from IGN Nintendo, though.

But who do they have left, anyway? IGN might as well nix the whole division at this point.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Matt was/is a giant fanboy. Might actually help make IGn credible now.

is it really that hard to just type "matt" in the forum search before posting a thread?

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
