I defeated him with my 6 poke team (Feraligatr, Togekiss, Gengar, Sudowoodo, Raticate and Ampharos) all were LVl 62 before the battle

PD: Raticate was completely useless and my sudowoodo's stealth rock did a really amazing job against Lapras and Charizard, my MVP was a tie between Togekiss and Feraligatr

Yeah, I meant the battle style. No particular reason, I was jsut curious.

My Charizard was close to lv 100, not sure the exact lv. Moveset was flametrhower, sunny day, solar beam and, well, fly. This way I could 0 or 1HKO most of his pokemon, Snorlax taking a bit longer.

Though for the sinnoh I gotta say I wouldn't mind having the Metagross. If you give me that the other ones you can give me anything. Like a bellsprout. Would you prefer the Metagross itself, or a Beldum that you can grow as you like?  I also have a Growlithe from a previous thread, I can make you an egg for that too, since it's an Heart Gold exclusive, if you don't have it already.  I guess I would just prefer the Metagross. The growlithe is fine too.   Also do you just want the first evolutions or the final ones? I'd prefer the first evolutions, mainly because I need them for Dex completion too

Yup, there's an item in your Key Items menu, the Pal Pad, that gives you your FC and where you can register other people FC too. 

Other than that, there's the GTS, which works like a Global Trading Hub, with tons of restrictions.

That's very enticing. I might have to get Heart Gold (for Arcanine). I can already imagine my squad taking shape........

If you ever get Heart Gold and need pokemon, just say so. I've got a respectable collection so far, although I bet a lot of people have more pokemon than me right now. 

It seems like your team was non-optimized against him in terms of elemental matchups. Mine is, but just by chance.

My guess would be Low Kick against Lapras and Snorlax from Machamp, Wood Hammer to down Blastoise, Spiritomb against Espeon, Quagsire to top Charizard and Pikachu, and Typhlosion over Venasaur.
