The UK 2010 Election Thread- Who will/would get your vote?

Conservative - David Cameron 19 32.20%

Labour - Gordon Brown 11 18.64%

Liberal Democrats - Nick Clegg 22 37.29%

Other Party (Green/UKIP/Etc) 5 8.47%

Undecided 2 3.39%

Total:59

I'm probably going to vote lib dem. I haven't totally decided yet but I generally with the exception of a few.
The conservative candidate for my constituency won't be full time, so I don't want to vote for him and i'm not a fan of conservative generally.

Labour and the "other" parties don't stand a chance of getting in where I live. So I'll probably vote Lib dem.
I'm not convinced about their immigration policy, but I agree with most of their other policies including scrapping trident.
Actually I don't agree with any of the main parties view on immagration, mostly with labour if they actually did what they said.

I'm beginning to lose faith in the British people here.

Yes, Clegg spoke very well. Fluently and classily, as usual. But after he harped on about getting rid of nuclear weapons, got owned by Cameron, harped on about "regional immigration", got owned by Cameron again, was in a massive donation scandal, and was even attacked by BROWN, people are still saying he won that debate?

The thing is your just seeing it from your own perspective and thus miss the point that many people see the regional idea as totally workable. People tend to come here for work rather than handouts so directing them to the work is logical. Clegg 'owned' Cameron just as often and, looking at the polls, which look past prejudice shows that all 3 must have had their moments.

Funny how the 'scandal' only comes out now the Tory press are pressing the panic button having been briefed by Conservative spin doctors. A Tory vote is a vote for more of the same, not that I'm going to claim is some for of saviour because I am uncertain about that. A draw gives a third voice and the two parties a kick in the teeth. Will they understand the kicking? That is debateable.

Yes.

www.spacemag.org - contribute your stuff... satire, comics, ideas, debate, stupidy stupid etc.

Sky News (Hosts) conducted a "instant poll of polls" Here are the results:

Cameron - 33%
Clegg - 33%
Brown - 27%

I don't no where the last 7% went to and clearly these undecided people could completely change the resuls.

Of all channels Fox News replayed your debate. Learned a lot. Honestly, i don't know how you leftwing guys could vote for labour... they remind me of George W Bush's government.

Cameron actually did a pretty fair job I think. I thought he won... especially hitting about those pamphlets.

I'd still probably vote Clegg though... amusingly though all 3 parties are for more rightwing immigration wise then the US democrats. Even the "Liberal" democrats.

On the topic of immigration...

You know it's gone way, way too far when you aren't even allowed to celebrate St. Georges Day in a pretty big city because you might upset "certain groups".

Beyond a joke.

Bradford.

Some bars aren't even allowed to be opened. The only pub my dad actually found that was celebrating it was... An Irish bar, of all places.

Excellent guess by the way.

Thats racism....Political correctness makes my blood boil.

It brings me back to when Ba Ba Black sheep got banned because it apparently insulted black people

I was just sent a joke... Kinda goes well with what i posted above.

"Many centuries ago St. George, a Turk, was made the patron saint of England.

A lot has changed since then, but England still treats illegal immigrants better than its own citizens."
