I am undecided personally over Labour/ Liberal Democrats.
Anyone who votes for the BNP is either misinformed or an idiot :)

Thats unfair to say... I'd never vote BNP but that doesnt make people who vote BNP idiots, if you need to resort to insults you have lost the argument.

But... If we are going this route I think anyone who votes Labour is an idiot.

No its not fair, i think its quite a  valid comment on my part. People who vote for the BNP either have not read enough of their racist/homophobic/xenophobic manifesto, or are just racists in general.

Just because I'm not voting Tory and have an opinion doesnt make me an idiot

People who vote for the BNP are usually people alienated from society and politics. Their vote is usually not motivated by racism or xenophobia but by their economical situation, sharp loss of community  , when they perceive themselves victims of multicultural policies. It is an extremely complex problem that lies deep within british society.

Im going to catch the highlights of the debate later, Liverpool Game is on TV

BNP sucks!

Too bad my friends grandma is supporting them.....she makes the "stereotype" seem true!

EDIT:

oh yeah headshot.....which party do you think is gonna be the best for us education wise, since we'r going to Uni later this year?

Well in fact, while LB seem the best party of us uni students (because they plan to scrap tuition fees), I feel this is a stupid policy designed just to capture votes...

We might be feeling good because we have £3290x3 less to pay back, but theyll have to increase tax somewhere else, plus the quality of our unis wil probably decrease!

disagree, I think that Uni should be free like all education, dont mind if it means some people pay more tax, its fair enough price for good education for the UK population.

heck, I wont even vote for a party that doesnt support scrapping tuition fees

I think Liberal democrats are the only party who will scrap tuition fees, i think cons and labour both want to either keep it the same (or more likely) raise it.

A large percentage of a unis revenue comes from tuition fees, scrap these and theyll have to charge even more for internation students (which would lead to less coming, which is actually a bad thing lol), plus theyll have to cut back on r and D for example, which employs a lot of graduates.

Plus, you do know that clegg said he wont scrap tuition fees straight away, it will be phased out over SIX years, therefore if he wins a large number of seats in the next election and has some power, his changes wont really come into effect until the NEXT election, after which he could be last again!

Exactly as I said, they just are not tuned into politics enough to realise that they are voting for such as crap party. They want to make a difference in their area by not voting for cons/labour, but voting BNP is the worst thing to do.

I will never, ever vote for Labour or the Conservatives.

they can fund those things through taxation and national insurance, we can also re-direct funds from things like Trident being scrapped and from pulling out of Afghanistan.

Well I can't watch the debate ATM

Will it be on youtube TONIGHT GUYS?!!!!!

@Headshot 51

I don't know if scrapping Tuition fee's is good, like you said I would rather pay tuition fee's than have Uni's become cheap, lecturing quality decrease, resources/facilities decrease & so on

Obviously Lib Dem must have SOME way of funding uni's through other means....but scrapping tuition fee's ALTOGETHER...sounds very iffy.

you can do it by stopping stupid spending and raising taxes on people who can afford to pay them, its easy, dont listen to the fearmongering.

I think Clegg is saying the best things so far, Cameron is just pandering and Gordon is barmy.

Woah a hardnut here ;)

Yeah i would like trident to be scrapped for something cheaper, not sure about afghanistan havent really read enough about it.

Also it would really be a BIG tax hike- 1.95 million uk uni students in 07 according to BBC-http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/7859034.stm

Therefore £3290x1.95million=£6,580,000,000 PER YEAR!
