BNP sucks!
Too bad my friends grandma is supporting them.....she makes the "stereotype" seem true!
EDIT:
oh yeah headshot.....which party do you think is gonna be the best for us education wise, since we'r going to Uni later this year?
|
Well in fact, while LB seem the best party of us uni students (because they plan to scrap tuition fees), I feel this is a stupid policy designed just to capture votes...
We might be feeling good because we have £3290x3 less to pay back, but theyll have to increase tax somewhere else, plus the quality of our unis wil probably decrease!
|
disagree, I think that Uni should be free like all education, dont mind if it means some people pay more tax, its fair enough price for good education for the UK population.
heck, I wont even vote for a party that doesnt support scrapping tuition fees
|
I think Liberal democrats are the only party who will scrap tuition fees, i think cons and labour both want to either keep it the same (or more likely) raise it.
A large percentage of a unis revenue comes from tuition fees, scrap these and theyll have to charge even more for internation students (which would lead to less coming, which is actually a bad thing lol), plus theyll have to cut back on r and D for example, which employs a lot of graduates.
Plus, you do know that clegg said he wont scrap tuition fees straight away, it will be phased out over SIX years, therefore if he wins a large number of seats in the next election and has some power, his changes wont really come into effect until the NEXT election, after which he could be last again!

I will never, ever vote for Labour or the Conservatives.
they can fund those things through taxation and national insurance, we can also re-direct funds from things like Trident being scrapped and from pulling out of Afghanistan.
|
Woah a hardnut here ;)
Yeah i would like trident to be scrapped for something cheaper, not sure about afghanistan havent really read enough about it.
Also it would really be a BIG tax hike- 1.95 million uk uni students in 07 according to BBC-http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/7859034.stm
Therefore £3290x1.95million=£6,580,000,000 PER YEAR!
