None.

However, if you asked the reverse, there would be a lot of games I could mention.

What games with horrible stories did you play due to the gameplay?

Around the Network

OT:

Um, many people hate the Resident Evil (pre 4) gameplay.

I dunno, I guess it took some getting use to but I loved the story/atmosphere. :)

Metal Gear Solid 4

Actually I have to agree about this.

It's not that I hated the gameplay (not great, "just" good), but the story was the main thing that kept me playing it.

Without the awesome cutscenes, I probably wouldn't have completed it.

Recently, off the top of my head, I guess Persona 3 and 4. Sorry, but some of the battles are just plain cheap (in 3 especially, with no direct control of your party members, some can become tedious) and you can get so far in an area and just die from a single encounter after training for like an hour because of weaknesses and the fact that if the main character dies, it's game over (uggghhh).

But man, I know the games have a lot of heart and I love them to death!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

None. I'm not masochistic enough to keep playing a game I can't stand just to see how the story turns out.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.
