The screenshots here aren't even the best screenshots, they're just some rarely seen ones a poster on GT found. You need to see it in action to do the game any justice.

^^^ That is sweet... Nice ragdoll physics going on there as you pump him full of rounds.

looks nice, but whats with the "uh i just stand in the corner and dont move as I also dont really shoot at the player" attitude the evil guy has? Hello AI? Any at home?

Well the devs have spend a lot of time on the blood. It splashes onto walls, and pools from dead enemies. It even dries and turns brown after a period of time.

The AI was at very easy(according to gameinformer) they didnt want to die and imbarrise themselves.

There is a video when they have the game at Normal, I will look for it:

Does it stain your gun?

"..just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake"

Looking better than COD4 ? Maybe.
Looking a lot more narrow too. The E3 demo was about corridor-like level where COD4 get some huge map.

Beside, they still have to proove they can do a better job than they did with the less than average KZ1.

Almost PC quality, some of the best graphics on a console to date and they still have a year to finish. I pretty much am bored with FPS's but theres no denying this game looks very impressive no matter how much grey is in the background(I dont really see that being an issue).

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

The first three images aren't really in-game... Cut scenes perhaps?

No. They're all in-game.

Possibly you misunderstood me.... While thsoe scenes may be "rendered" by the in-game engine and not CGI, that matters not.  I wasn't commenting on the quality of graphics -- I was commenting on the fact that they are third person or "cut-scene" perspective and not what the game will look like when the player is fully "in control".  That wasn't a knock on the game by any means...

I believe they were taken by pausing the game and disconnecting the camera. I know this because there was no cut scene at that point in the E3 demo, and one of the characters shown (the guy with the mohawk) is actually the main character you control.

I don't think so :D

You never know what little touches they might add before it's released though.

Looks brilliant. Its a great pitty its on the PS3 tho. The PS3 has the worst pad for FPS. The left thumbstick is just in the wrong place :(

Altough why do people seem to get so excited about graphics. surely this type of graphics are expected on the PS3 anyway, arent they?

Wrong the ps2 had the worst FPS controls. Resistance fixed that. Ask anyone who played it, the controls are perfect.

I'm sorry to say it but yeah, i agree with leo-j. Of course the PS3 controls are nothing when compared to the Wii but it's far from bad. I really enjoyed Resistance and i really love CoD4. Now i need a fix cause i can't even play online most of the time
