The screenshots here aren't even the best screenshots, they're just some rarely seen ones a poster on GT found. You need to see it in action to do the game any justice.

I have a question, has anyone accually played Crysis, with no hitches or graphical problems? I find it hard to believe that there are so many people that have the maximum requirements to play this game.

I think the comparison here is from screenshots and videos, not that everyone commenting has played Crysis. Isn't that what this thread referenced from the beginning? Screenshots?

I've compared screenshots and videos side by side, and I think Crysis looks waaaay better. I also have a good friend with a quad core, 4GB RAM, and dual Gefoce8800's PC, so I'll get to see it in action soon.

Dude like I said the graphcis card and ram arent the only thing that matter when taking about graphics. Why da hell did this go to a crysis vs kz2 thing.

I forgot to put consoles in their.

If you're talking about consoles only, It's definitely up there graphics-wise from what I've seen. It seems on par with COD4 from screens and vids, but I'd have to see it in motion on an actual PS3 to really make that judgement. I still stand by what I say about most FPS's (not just KZ2) using waaaaaaay too much grey in the level design.

Well I have a 8800GTS and it plays quite nicely on it, I would say from both a Tech graphical stand point Crysis looks better and it is also far more beautiful to look at, would you rather be in a lovely lush island or a grim grey city?
I imagine by the time KZ2 comes to PS3 most PC's will be able to play crysis :P

The obvious lack of turtles is extremely disappointing.

"..just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake"

Looks brilliant. Its a great pitty its on the PS3 tho. The PS3 has the worst pad for FPS. The left thumbstick is just in the wrong place :(

Altough why do people seem to get so excited about graphics. surely this type of graphics are expected on the PS3 anyway, arent they?

It does look quite impressive - for it's style type, but don't you think actually seeing the fluidic splashes of blood is just....overkill?

Wrong the ps2 had the worst FPS controls. Resistance fixed that. Ask anyone who played it, the controls are perfect.

The first three images aren't really in-game... Cut scenes perhaps?

No. They're all in-game.

Possibly you misunderstood me.... While thsoe scenes may be "rendered" by the in-game engine and not CGI, that matters not.  I wasn't commenting on the quality of graphics -- I was commenting on the fact that they are third person or "cut-scene" perspective and not what the game will look like when the player is fully "in control".  That wasn't a knock on the game by any means...
