I've been in the top 10 in super stardust WW
won some goldeneye competitions back in the day
and consistently place in the top 3 when playing most fps games online.

I don't spend as much time as I used to though. I could probably be a lot better if i did.

You can say that again, you haven't even added my new account yet!(Used to be GWAR)

In the spectrum of gamer talent out there I'd say I'm below average, but not embarrassingly so.

I never get all the upgrades or find all the treasures, I can never execute all the combos. I would embarrass myself in any serious online multiplayer, and I'd just barely carry my weight in online coop. I do get the hang of games quickly enough so that if it's a game I find interesting I will enjoy it.

It's partly lack of raw talent, mostly lack of time to become a really good gamer, and increasingly age having it's deteriorating effect on the capacity to learn and react quickly.

I'm hoping I'm still god enough to get through Demon's Souls. If I can manage that then at least I'll know I meet a reasonable talent standard. That and not end up unintentionally killing off every main character in Heavy Rain, I'll be pretty bummed if I can't get a least one person through alive.

I'm good at certain games, like racing and platformers. I'm decent at playing shooters, having had friends who were among the top ranked UT and CS players in Europe helps hone your skills on LAN meets!
I'm very bad at RTS games though, I always get mangled by either my friends or the AI we're fighting (I can hold my own in the campaigns but human players run me over easily). This could be related to the fact that I've never found any RTS games besides Starcraft and Age of Empires II any fun so I haven't really had a lot of practice, but even those two where I have had practice, I'm rather mediocre so I guess I'm just not made for it!

GWAR like the band that composed the awesome song that I use as a nickname, and many others? it has to be, but I'm asking just to be sure...

I think I'm average. for years I played with other average players, when the Internets came I saw I was just average in most of the games. I played one FPS VERY WELL for years, and since then I have been a "good" player in TF2.  in 1x1 games I kinda suck though, even in team games I'm better at picking players off-guard, especially with ping disadvantage. SFIV is a good example, I play like a noob most of the times, getting countered all the time and losing very easily when I get desperate (most of the times!)

however, I'm surprisingly better than I thought I would be in DiRT 2. I obviously lose to players that have been playing for months now, but I think that when I memorize the tracks I'll compete with them. still, right now I am able to keep a good distance behind them.

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

hell yeah I'm good. I'm oldschoolfool. lol

I'm great when it comes to single player, multiplayer I pretty good and sometimes bad.

im good at multi-player shooter games like Cod and halo but not games like gears of war you have to use a clip and a half to kill someone on gears 2

I still think i'm pretty good. JRPGs being my best genre. I am getting alot better at FPS games due to Killzone 2.

locally I can beat pretty much all my friends/relatives

online - I'm average to above average depending on the game.

overall I'm good at most genres.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I will say this: Despite getting my ass handed to me countless times in Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, I have NEVER lost a single tournament that we've been able to arrange online. 16 players walk in. d21lewis walks out!!
