People are bringing up devs like Jaffe, Nomura and Itoi, but no Will Wright or Gunpei Yokoi?! Most influential devs other than Miyamoto.

Miyamoto is one of the greatest ever but he never put the messages and art that Itoi has put into his games. Normally my vote goes for Miyamoto but seeing Itoi get the shaft makes me an unhappy camper :P

Tough call considering Nomura was apart of Chrono trigger, but I had to go with Miyamoto, without him, the industry would have died back in the 80's!

Was he? I thought that Toriyama (probably way off on the spelling) did the CT artwork... just look at the similarities to DQ and Dragonball which he also does...
