err no
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
I really think the next nintendo is going to be far beyound the ps3 for sure and its probably going to be 249$ and by that time ps3 will probably be 99$ because thats all it would be worth but if you idiots are retarded enough to believe nintendo is always going to be 1generation behind in graphics your retarded and as a matter a fact this is the only gen where sony even had a powerful console especially compared to nintendo because the n64 could work circles around the psx and even more so with the gamecube vs. ps2's dvd format witch was only a step above the dreamcast 1080i garbage.............
Did you know the gamecube could run 480p and had about a 5th more magahurtz then ps2? its just nintendo didn't ever feel the need to advertise 480p on the back of their games cause nobody cared and no game on wii to date has maxed out the console "none" and theirs obviously games on ps3 doing almost everything the console can do............
Before I leave this thread I'd just like everyone to know how stupid this thread is especially the point of it probably being sony's always going to make the most powerful console and you'd probably have to be pretty damn stupid to believe sonys going to release another 600$ console witch was worth over 800$ at the time it came out when it seemed as if sony couldn't even give a ps3 away let alone sell one.............
I think the ps4 will cost about 400$ with alot of features and I think the next microsoft will be about the same and I think the next nintendo will be 249$ with less features to make up for graphics or they might just take a loss next time or break even unlike wii "making a profit" and even be on the same level as the next 2consoles witch I think they might for the sake of royalties and 3rd party support and a bigger userbase............. but I know sony isn't going to come out with a gaming pc next time around thats for sure
| HappySqurriel said: Unlike with the Wii, Nintendo will (most likely) need to change the entire hardware architecture of their next generation system; and even if they choose to maintain the strategy of the Wii (and produce a very low cost, small and low energy consumption console) it is likely that the console would be a noticeable graphical improvement over the HD consoles. To understand what I mean, consider that what is available as a GPU for a low cost ($500 to $750) laptop probably falls fairly close to the energy consumption and cost requirements for a console like the Wii, and the GPUs in this class are already in the performance range of the HD consoles; and in some cases they outperform the HD console’s GPUs. If you assume a Q4 2011 release, the GPUs available in this range would clearly outperform the HD consoles. If Nintendo is willing to go for a somewhat more expensive and energy hungry chip (possibly to the extent that is possible if they moved to a laptop disc-drive to make space and used a fan for cooling) they could produce a system that is (potentially) dramatically more powerful than either the HD consoles. |
You should know that the price of the GPUs in the laptops is dictated as much by the lack of 40nm TSMC fabrication capacity as it is by the cost of the raw silicon and chip NRE.
Tease.
But i think next consol from Nintendo... is not the next hardware..
Addon the power... Think 32X for the Genesis.. Virtuel Reality are next.
Hmm. will not show the picture... See WiiR here..

They did the VB... Not VR... This will not fail..
Revealing WiiR at E3 2010...?
You know, you don't need to praise. Sony for something they didn't create, or excellent at. Just ask us if we think Nintendo should have better online. In that case, yes.
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .

Well I'm pretty sure that the Wii's successor will AT LEAST be comparable to the 360/PS3 in terms of graphical prowess... it just won't have all the multimedia capabilities that they do, which should keep the price in the sub-$300 range.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
No. Why copy the losers? Nintendo has doing amazing stuff in gaming to go and being a generic all-in-1 pseudo-PC.
And there's already a MMRPG of Pokemon. Is called REAL LIFE.

When I was talking about cost I wasn’t really focusing on direct manufacturing costs; in a large part because I believe this can be dealt with indirectly. Basically, when you strip away the unnecessary hardware (primarily the LCD monitor and battery), the hardware costs of the remaining components have to be in a similar range to a low cost console in order to cover the manufacturer and retailer profits; and to be able to cover the licensing costs of the operating system.

But if you make your Pokemon fight in real life you get sent to jail and fined.
