I mean Bush did create a huge chunk of our current debt, yet now that Obama is kicking ass scared conservatives want to push the blame to him. Why were conservatives not complaining when Bush was wasting Millions of dollars on war? Apparently some Americans think creating debt to kill people is better than helping people by giving universal health care. PEACE!

good thing we live in a Republic and all our states are republics. Seriously, how can one wish to change the document that tells the government how to run and what they can't do to us, on a social whim? That's why its really hard to change it.; unless you get judges that will destroy its meaning.

and fascism is closer to socialism than to what we call the right today. Calling them right wing is a bunch of poliical bs that teachers spew to confuse students. They were a different branch from the same tree.

If the minority wants to change it, then there's no problems. Democracy happens. If majority wants to change it, but it won't be changed because the paper says not to. Then, democracy doesn't happen. I can't imagine a situation where constitution would run over the majoritys will. In an extreme case, the constitution will be overrun by force.

again its a good thing we live in a Republic then. ITs not like we can't have spending bills and laws without changing the constitution. All the constitution does is tell the government how to run and what they can't do to us.

That was an oversimplification. The terms left and right originate from the french revolution where it meant the order in which people were sitting in government.

Left is usually considered as driving a change in society, while right is keeping things "as is".

Then again, leftist parties live in a fantasy world of their ideology, while right wing parties live in a reality of special interest groups.
