I would not buy it. Hey Ubisoft. Instead of giving the PS3 a copy of Conviction, bring us a PS3 timed Exclusive:
Beyond Good and Evil 2
"Splinter Cell on PS3: “We’ll have to see”
Its Ubisoft, they Probably have a Wii-PS2-PS1-GBA-DS-NES-Dreamcast Versions in the works as well...

I woudn't buy it either, enough good titles in my backlog and Ubisoft needs to learn its lesson like Take Two did with Bioshock...
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
If this was a niche title or a new IP, it would be acceptable from a business stand point to release the game exclusively. But that is not the case, this is a horrible move by Ubisoft and will most likely lose a lot of money because of it.
No thx, keep this console exclusive instead give us ps3 owners sumthing else.

What lesson? Bioshock was a huge hit. Bioshock 2 is also selling about 2:1.
Seems like they could just stick with the 360 and make a profit. Putting out PS3 releases is just even more money.

I am pretty confident that Conviction will end up on the PS3 at some point. Many of the 3rd party console exclusives the 360 had have ended up on it at some point. Conviction isn't a system defining game like Gears so I can't see Microsoft paying to much to keep it exclusive. Plus with the long development cycle of the game, Ubisoft needs to recoup the cost anyway they can.

I don't understand obnoxious comments like this. As a 360 owner I wouldn't mind getting some PS3 exclusives.
Conviction is a critical success and its not a bad game to have in any consoles library. Even if it came late.

If Sony is willing front some money and advertise the shit out of it, that could happen.
