Didn't nintendo help design the ps1?

Not exactly. Sony was going to design a disc-based add-on the SNES called the PlayStation. The plans fell through, but Sony went ahead with their technology, and named it Sony PlayStation. In this case, however, the PS1 didn't launch with a DualShock controller. That wasn't constructed until 1998 (which in context with this article) was prior to when the claim was made that Nintendo apparently "jacked" an idea of Six degrees of motion. |
Good thing they decided to do that! :D
| CGI-Quality said: Nintendo PlayStation confirmed?! ![]() On a serious note, at least one gaming company was able (even if it wasn't the original intent) to help another one out from these folks who just love their $. |

Nintendo Playstation was confirmed way back XD
..So Nintendo walked away without paying a dollar? while MS still paid yet could've got off the hook as well?

They don't have any rights to it.
Regardless, I'm glad yet another money grubbing no-name company that patented something to steal money off game companies didn't get what they wanted. Damn con-artists.
Too bad Microsoft got screwed over.
Nintendo now owes Sony 1 exclusive game. Pay up Ninty
