Call the number and they'll send you a "coffin" immediately. Depending on your location, it will take 2-5 days to get the coffin. Send it back and it will take a couple of weeks plus return shipping. No big deal as you are covered by a 3 year warranty for RROD. I know it sucks but you will get the new hardware design upon return as they are sending out units with all the "latest" hardware mods that are supposed to fix RROD.

I hate trolls.

I don't own a 360, but that's plain shit hey, I really feel sorry for you and especially on such a magical moment you'd like so much to play a favorite game and then the console dies on you... it really sucks! Unfortunate can't help you out with the phone number, perhaps you can look at the official website www.xbox.com for any service numbers perhaps?

Yeah, sorry about that. I usually don't type that much, but lately for someone reason I have just been going off with my creative writing skizillz!! Yeah, I agree with that though, but I think people are starting to get more confident in the console, or at least in MS, hopefully we will see just how confident they are when the numbers for Holiday 07 come out!

It's interesting to note the generally positive view that American gamers have towards the 360 despite the RROD. I could only imagine the outcry if the ps3 had similar failure rates.

Although for what it's worth I do hope that Microsoft addresses this problem especially when they end up shifting from 90nm to 65nm for both the CPU and the GPU. I think at the moment they have started doing that with the CPU although I thought that the GPU was the one overheating so hopefully they will get to it ASAP.
