You haven't actually got any reasons left. Link's skills with a sword are built specifically to take apart other people using swords and even shields. He has th Mortal Draw, which by itself would win him this fight - combine it with the Ending Blow and Kratos is dead as soon as he runs up to Link.

When all you can say is "No situation where Link would win" without backing it up - ever - then I think your contributions to the discussion have ended.


your contributions ended when you said the developers made the cape that way because thats the way it works the completely ignoring link not taking damage with bombs

It's like asking who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman, if we took away all of supermans powers.

Link has been around forever, if youare going by what the devs give him he wins due to the fact that he has thousands of items...nowwhere near a fair fight.

It's not really the items Kratos should be worried about.

It's the Triforce.

Kratos and Link baseline... are much weaker then Kratos and Link vs "bosses"

Kratos is only about as powerful as any other half god, he only gets to "God killing" status due to the power of Hope.

Link goes to "God killing" satus due to the Triforce of Courage... which greatly enhances all of his stats... the bigger the threat, the more power it pulls out.

 

Kratos "hope" powerup isn't going to activate vs Link, who is so purehearted it makes you sick to your stomach a little bit. Kratos isn't going to be capped at the top of his power... he's going to be in his "Warrior of Sparta" form.

Link's Tri-force powerup would however still be active.


Additionally, the Triforce of Courage is just a stronger mcguffin then Hope.

In general because of who link is... Kratos won't be able to "rise to the occasion."

 

 

Not true, kratos did not want to fight hercules...we all know how that ended. He had no intention of killing Hephestus until he attacked him, if link is the aggressor he will "rise to the occasion". Kratos has a sense of morality, he isn't a bloodthirsty beast.

A) Link is going to be the agressor?

B) They were infected all the same.  They weren't pure of heart.

C) The Triforce is more powerful regardless.


Wait isn't the tri force an item? A relic that need to be touched?

Didn't Kratos get his "hope" power by touching an item?  Pandoras box?

Without that... Kratos wouldn't of even had the power to beat Ares.

For link to hit kratos wouldn't he have to will whatever body part he wants to hit with to become solid? Because if not the whole argument just fails.

And if, lets say his hand, becomes solid and kratos blade is where link was aiming for that would hurt link.

To be honest I haven't played either but your argument just seems so unrealistic.

is that why in legend of zelda link gathers the broken pieces? I guess link is gathering her dead body that kratos tore to shreds after seducing her

I know it's unrealistic, but that's how the Magic Cape works. You can be standing inside of a wall - or even an enemy - and swing your sword. There's nothing stopping you in any case. Link takes damage from touching enemies, but with the Magic Cape he can stand inside them and swing away. He's totally untouchable with it on.

Yeah, it's unrealistic and unfair. I know. I've acknowledged it a bunch.

It's not an issue if you don't take this as "All Links combined vs. Kratos", but letsdance refuses to just pick one Link to have the fight going down with.

The Triforce didn't have a proper holder in that time, for whatever reason. In Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess he was the vessel for it himself, and it was inside of him.
