tbh no matter how much better,superior game MNR is or might be to Mario Kart . iT will surely never surpass sales of MK. I would say MNR LTD is max of 2M

Nope.  It's going to kill Mario Kart badly in gameplay.  It's a shame that I only own a Wii and have to play that piece of crap known as Mario Kart.

Mario was killed in this way by Sackboy too.  It's such a shame...

Just because MNR might "kill" MK does not mean that your precious MK games sucks. In life, theres competition and comparison, something will always be killed by something else. And there is nothing wrong with that. Your sarcasm isn't really funny at all. You need some new jokes.

Kinda suprised no one has mentioned trackmania wii. Not saying that it will be all around better than MNR, but it looks like it will be solid in it's own right. Shoot, if the track creating options are amazing in trackmania, maybe i'll like it better.

Hopefully this will send a message to nintendo to not dumb down mario kart for next gen. Absolutely love the tracks, but team-battle is GARBAGE. Welcoming competition.

From what I can tell, Mario Kart is a far better game. I'll likely never know because I'm not getting this. I hope the controls are decent, though.

yes I own MK on the wii and after I played on the beta of this game I instantly knew it was better, it was so much more fun and totally addictive, it's such a shame it will never sell as much as MK tho:(:(
I will have to save up for this game now.

My friend was over who has a wii and is very good at mario kart.he was playing the beta and felt that mario cart was better because the controls on modnation were too tight in comparrison to mario cart

I think this question is unfair on both Modnations Racers and Mario Kart Wii.

Mario Kart Wii at 21 million in sales and counting is deserving of a good deal of respect and simply isn't going to be 'killed' any time soon by anything.

Modnation racers is a new franchise, and by the looks of it, quite a different beast. It deserves to be considered and appraised on it's own merits without comparisons to the Mario Kart series with it's nearly 20 year heritage.
