There are already 2 systems devoted to that, I'd rather the third give me an option. That is reason enough, can you argue against options?

What you just said doesn't make any sense. By nintendo releasing Wii HD people would have more options, the option to play their games in HD or SD, right now they don't have choice. Although MS and sony have HD consoles you cant play zelda on them, you can't play metroid, Mario or any other game made exclusivley for the Wii.

People aren't upset about an HD option. If there were one, cool.
The thing people hate about Pachter, is that he makes these bold predictions all the time that aren't true. Yet when he claims the Wii is going to die, everybody quotes him like he's Nostradamus. There is no Wii HD, there is no Xbox slim, and there is pretty much no validity to anything he claims.
Wii HD=Never quote Pachter speaking ill of the Wii again.
