My thought exactly. The first Gears of War commercial was great, but it seems like they are just sort of rinse-and-repeating for the sequels. It got my vote though.
The Mass Effect 2 commercial they showed during the NFC Championship was pretty epic too. I won't count it because it was sort of a one-off commercial.
Seems like Gears wins by quite a lot. I guess I'm not surprised, I definitely agree.
Lost Odyssey was great as well, as rocketpig pointed out. I wonder what the next game will be to match these...
The commercial for the original Gears is the epitome of epic.

I like the Gears 2 commercial better than the Gears 1 one, but they aired the bejeezus out of the Gears 1 one. Gears 3's is pretty awesome as well.
On the other hand, I think Lost Odyssey's is freaking awesome as well. I watch that with Gears 2's quite often.
Microsoft or whoever they outsource their marketing to should be holding seminars on advertising imo. The Halo 3 Believe ads were awesome as well.

Commercials are for losers and the controlled mass public. TV is basically crap and the only thing I wouldn't mind watching without DVR would be Adult Swim. Only good stations anyone should watch is History Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, and Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Anyways, I'd say none since I haven't seen any of them or they weren't memorable. Only commercial that I liked from this generation would be the Mario Kart Wii ads. A commercial that actually made me laugh unlike 99.9% of them. I am loving netflix tv streaming a lot lately.
Gears of War, that's a no brainer. I mean next gen people will STILL talk about how good those were.
