I honestly don't know but if Nintendo don't half ass it this year they should by rights have the best show. New hardware and a long awaited sequel to one of the industries most acclaimed franchises would be an extremely good start. They are likely to be the only manufacturer announcing new hardware and unless the 3DS is totally crap that alone could make the show theirs.

A good roster of other first party games including some or all of F-Zero, Pikmin, Starfox, a 2D DK, dates/trailers/playable demos of Dragon's Quest, Xenoblade, Retro's project and the Last Story along with a cool demo of the VS software.

I didn't vote though because these polls have just become a situation of everyone voting for their favourite console without giving any consideration to the question at hand.

I will be paying close attention to people who justify their selection of MS or Sony because what they both show this year at E3 will help to determine whether I will buy a HD console this year and if so, which one.  I'm keen to know what I need to keep an eye out for.

What the hell is the matter with people on this board. Sony is leading and they shouldn't have a single vote! I can understand some nintendo votes because of the 3DS, and of course MS should be way ahead because of a NATAL.

That's the thing.  Most people don't believe they will; and with good reason I think.  3DS will be cool, but the big draws this year are the games and I think Sony will have the best games with the exception of Zelda wii.

Zelda and 3DS together. Generally whenever any of the big 3 has proper new hardware (and the others do not) it's an automatic win for them, it only becomes a question again when multiples are showing off new hardware, so unless PSP2 also crops up, it's Nintendo's, almost by default

Zelda helps too, like i said. Move and Natal are old hat. They may have great presentations for them, but it's not new and exciting, so it's not going to raise as much hype. New things win E3, much like how, despite all the skepticism surrounding the device, Microsoft walked away from last year a clear winner in terms of hype (though i would say that Sony objectively showed more new quality software).

Though I will support Sony like always, its seems 3DS has overwhelmed both the Move and Natal, and I cant see the future direction for PSP2 if it ends up like Go.

Being on the mainstream media on the other hand is. The same happened with the Wii after E3 2006. They managed to create excitement for the Wii and MS did this with Natal. Sony did not with the move or the biggest failure ever, the PSP Go.

I believe Microsoft will pull all stops as far as displaying and pushing Natal, so as far as the press is concerned, it will be Microsoft that will dominate. As long as Micorsoft can make it seem (whether it is true or not) that Natal does what they say it does.
