Here’s Deathsmiles II Running On An Xbox 360

While we’re just about to get Deathsmiles, Japan is waiting for Deathsmiles IIX, an Xbox 360 port of the arcade game slated for May 27. Cave’s shooter sequel has six characters and pig chefs to shoot.

This is what you can look forward to… if Deathsmiles does well when it launches in June. Tipster John from Ubiquitous Gaming *really* wants everyone to pre-order and pinged us as soon as Amazon started accepting pre-orders. You can reserve the limited edition here. So far, Aksys hasn’t announced a game-only release.

That faceplate is badass (the hottest animu chick of the bunch is cut-off in that faceplate though :(). But it looks like it's more suited to the Black Elite Xbox 360's. You think it would look good with a White 360?

Aksys really knows their target demographic. Western otaku perverts. Aksys really needs to localize all those Xbox 360 dating sims/dating-themed visual novels though they have in Japan. They are missing a huge opportunity to milk their target demographic in the west. Games with dating sim elements are getting released more and more frequently these days (Agarest, Ar Tonelico, Sakura Wars, Persona 3/4) on consoles in the west. They might as well just localize the full-blown bishoujos they have on the consoles in Japan.

I know the US are getting the first Deathsmiles but is there any chance of Europe getting the game as well? I really want it...
