Im on steam now.. and the only game that was 60 bucks was MW2, and it sits at 50 now. Most new games on here (steam), and future releases is within $29-$49. Atleast the top tier games like BFBC, Metro 2033, C&C4, Borderlands etc.

But i agree.. now PC game should be $60 on Steam, or any other DD service. And piracy, atleast for me, is only because the game isnt worth the price, but im bored and i want something to play and kill a few hours. But i dont have any problem spending cash on minigames or games that i feel justify their pricetag.

PC gaming is dying.. well maybe not dying but the once such great things about PC gaming are dissapearing.. dedicated servers aren't a gaurantee anymore, higher priced games and games are being made for consoles then for PC instead of the other way around..

Oh, so you'd like to pay $10/10€ more for every console game you buy? How about Xbox Live costing $10 more per year? And all this with no apparent reason, except for the company's greed.

I've heard that Blizzard games usually cost $60 when they are new.

Is that true or am I just so naive about Blizzard that I believed some random dude on a forum?

Anyway, I planned on getting the collectors edition from the get-go so I'm not affected^^

Well doing a search of upcoming games:
Ghost Recon Future Soldier was the only non-Activision/Blizzard game on Amazon that costs more then $50 as a normal non-collectors edition game.

Looks like a isolated incident of greed between Ubisoft/Activision-Blizzard.

Theres no 'should' in this business. They release the content they want to and you buy the content you want to.

Dunno I could care less about MW2 since it has no dedicated server support I refuse to pay for it so I don't play it.

secondly I never ever pay the asking price for a game. look around and you buy them for a lot less. Gotten myself Supcom 2 for 40% of the asking price and it's what a month old.

It's only activision games that cost $60 on pc.

jsut do what i do wait till it comes out cheaper lol. i bought street fighter 4 for 20 dollars and transformers for my son also for like 17 dollars. the only gamei see worth the money is the MMORPG's and the games that are gonna last a long time. but the problem with pc games is once you buy them it is very hard to sell them cause they decrease in value so quickly. and places like gamestop wont take pc games. i do know sony wants to get to where console games are like that but i think if it gets to that point consoles would die.
