Forums - Nintendo - Looks like WarioWare DIY has been a big sales bomb.

Like most Nintendo developed games, it should have legs.  I mean, WarioWare Touched only sold about 58,000 copies at launch in America.  But it had consistant sales following and got up to 500,000 copies.  And Nintendo stopped printing that game after only a year.  This game could go for much longer, even into the life cycle of the 3DS.

I would have bought a copy myself, but I just don't have the money right now.  But this is one of my most anticipated games of the year.

Anyone who pays any attention to Malstrom's blog should not find this surprising in the least bit.

Thank goodness most people don't then.

Again comments about Malstrom

This guy has been correct alot more than wrong

Do you even read him?

Like IGN, nearly everything he says is posted on this forum.  But also like IGN, I consider his opinions more of a person just regurgitating negative opinions and rumors for attention.  And I've out grown my emo teen years.

Stupid funny comments that catch me off guard. Good god man, put a warning label on your snark. Some of us may have been drinking sodas at the computer. some of us may be dumb like that.

Yeah, nobody wants UGC. That's why ancient moddable games like Quake II and Half-Life 2 are still immensily popular today.

It's obvious you don't read either his writings or actual emo teen writing. Complaints and criticism=|=emo.

I wasn't claiming he was emo.  I was making a jab that constant criticisms and complaining appeals to those types of people.  But you could still make the argument that someone who is constantly trying to find fault in everything does come across as rather cynical and dreary in their writing.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Except he doesn't do that. His complaints are about the way video game companies are run. There is a difference.

There is a dedicated Malstrom thread, no need to start wanking him off in other threads.

People need to appreciate Wario more.

Playing Counterstrike is popular. And having a community for those things doesn't equal mainstream popularity.
