Forums - Nintendo - Looks like WarioWare DIY has been a big sales bomb.

Indeed. UGC is not my cup of tea.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Malstrom's going to shit his pants in delight about this, i can tell yah.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

As I have said before... I am done with the Handhelds. I was thinking about buying Pokemon H.G or S.S but told myself no your done with Handhelds so that means don't buy it... so I didn't buy it. I just can't support both Home consoles and Handhelds anymore and plus my D.S hasn't been used in about 8 months! Honestly though WarioWare D.I.Y looks very interesting and if it was on Wii it would probably be a day 1 buy for me! As for it selling 10K week 1 in America it will pick up like most Nintendo/D.S/Wii games do. It may not pick up a lot until week 35 or even week 70 but it will reach high #'s someday.

Like most Nintendo developed games, it should have legs.  I mean, WarioWare Touched only sold about 58,000 copies at launch in America.  But it had consistant sales following and got up to 500,000 copies.  And Nintendo stopped printing that game after only a year.  This game could go for much longer, even into the life cycle of the 3DS.

I would have bought a copy myself, but I just don't have the money right now.  But this is one of my most anticipated games of the year.

This game is not all about UGC anyway. People citing Malstrom actually said it was ok to have UGC as long as you had a healthy amount of professionally created content, and that this tittle had it.

So it's a matter of drawing a line, an objective one, or you'll be able to use just about any game with some UGC component as an argument towards your point. So unless there's a clear line, I could say your wrong because Age of Empires 2 had a map creator and yet sold well... it's just too easy when you don't have a well-printed line.

UGC needs proper community to share with. Nintendo sucks big time at know how to share UGC.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Most people want to purchase a game where they dont have to make the actual game.
UGC is not very popular

Again comments about Malstrom

This guy has been correct alot more than wrong

Do you even read him?

From videos, I find its game creator editor very boring.

Also, friend codes for sharing is boring.
