I don't own a PS3, but I like KB, he can pwn anybody and anything while being funny in the process too!
And humourless people getting pissed by him is just the counter-check that he's doing his job right.

Some people really need to relax, these are only electronic goods. They don't have feelings for you too.

The fact that he uses words like Wiijitsu and talks about his "fighting style" in that gif must ring a bell that its all in the name of fun. Sad people.. sad sad sad. LOL! The fact that some even get upset is just beyond me. "Oh noes, my console is made fun off, RAGE!!!" I dont even know why i bother writing this, since the same people im trying enlighten, are too far gone in the internet wars. Sad!

Unfortunately most developers completely ignore it now... It really has had some awesome use in some games.. Like heavenly sword. :(

Which in turn only makes him cooler and larger than console wars. Good things in my opinion!

It is marketing... just VERY BAD marketing.  The fact you remember it and will show it again means it works to some extent as marketing.

I always liked that commercial.
