@leo-j

If Sony ever does a "It only does everything" campaign for the PSP, they're better off waiting for the PSP2 - or phone or pad or whatever it'll be - because, while the PSP does a lot of things, there's a lot of things it doesn't do, including important features like motion, accelerometer, a decent web browser, etc

All this talk of legs made it saunter slightly to the right.

you know that's one thing I hate about this site, Leo-j was arguing about psp doing everything the ds does, then a nintendo fan came and said no it doesn't then leo-j prove him wrong and instead of admitting defeat he broke the thread
well done guys

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

uk save 360's sells in others... look in spain, france, germany!! damn ps3 detroyed 360 by the double... I'm worried for 360  in others cause there many prmotions on 360 in many countries, you can pick up 360 150 euros in europe with 3 games and a free hard drive, or elite with 4 games :lego, pure, odst and forza 3 for 219 euros!! come on european people, 360 is less expensive than a ps2 (with offers), it's a goood system.

how would it be lying?

Well... it actually doesn't do more?

DSi does pretty much everything PSP does (music playback, dlc, maps, voice chat, camera, etc).  The only major thing it doesn't do is video playback, but now it's rumored to be getting Netflix anyway.  Plus DSi has various random apps like calendars, notepads, book readers, calculators, custom alarms and even stuff like the metronome and instrument tuner that released last week.

the wii does pretty much everything the PS3 does too right?

the PSP does many MANY (as in LANDSLIDE) more things than the DSi does.. as the DSi doesnt even playback MP3s.. so the music playback feature is not one you should be touting.. as the PSP can playback several formats in addition to MP3.. and in style too with sens me which senses the mood of the song , and puts the songs based on what mood you are in..

What does the Wii/PS3 comparison have to do with anything?

DSi only plays one format (AAC) but it also lets you adjust pitch/tempo/speed in realtime and allows for voice/sample recording (neither feature's built into PSP's music playback iirc).  Plus DS has various music programs, like the Korg DS-10 synthesizers.  PSP doesn't really have anything like that, unless you start delving into hacks/homebrew.

While I'm not going to get into the "whose features are the feature-iest" argument, I do want to point out that Beaterator, a game/music suite that not enough people know about, exists on the PSP.  It's a loop sequencer that allows for recording, editing midi files, manipulating audio files, outputting Mp3s, and it might be the best designed sequencer I've ever seen, limited only by the fact that it runs on PSP and not PC.  It also comes with a huge library of sounds already created for it by Timbaland, so just playing around with what's already in there is pretty incredible.  Seriously, Beaterator...  if you actually use music creation software, you should check it out.
