Uhh I'll just post something random like most people since I don't understand what's going on

ytd the ps2 has to be more then 5million behind wii and I bet most of you really don't no how young the wii really is or the kind of ppl it sold to either, the wii came out "november 2006" its not even 4years old yet actually it is 3years and 5months old on I think the 21st so I think the ps2 has to be about 20million consoles sold under wii year to date I think that would be accurate but I didn't look in to it but that has to be more accurate then only 5million plus all we have seen is a 50$ price cut with no new bundles or colors witch I think will push the wii later like for example monster hunter 3 bundle with a jet black wii I think could push a little weight towards a ps3/360 owner buying one packaged with a classic controller and a wiimote with wii motion plus built in and the other bundle being wii sports resort...........

I don't think the wii is going to stop selling to regular ppl like ppl who want to lose weight or little girls who exclusively love mario games "who doesn't" but I don't think the ps2 hit those areas as hard as wii not to mention gyms, schools, retirement homes, and this year a few more hardcore gamers then usual and I don't think the casual audience is the type to buy a used console like ps2/xbox owners are so I don't even think used wiis will hurt nintendo trying to sell wii...........

It's a shame really, the PS2 could have done much better with stronger Nintendo support.

ps2 has sold more than the wii. however, i think what this thread is getting at is wii fans unwaivering faith that the wii WILL outsell the ps2. So instead of asking whether the wii will outsell the ps2 he has changed it the other way around...

People that believe the Wii is on course to outsell the PS2 point to the fact that the Wii is far outselling the PS2, launches aligned.

People that have unwavering faith that somehow the Wii is not going to outsell the PS2 base this on blind assumption that some great castastrophe will befall Nintendo that will stop the Wii dead in the water. Ergo it is more wishful thinking than it is assessment of evidence.

"trangentspree" just imagine if the wii got half the support the 360 did then the majority of 360/ps3 owners would even own one being their first priority and with 3good fps games still coming this year and a ton of rpg's coming this year plus zelda and I do no 1person and Im sure he's not the only one to only exclusively play zelda games and only buy nintendo consoles when a zelda comes out plus not to mention I'll probably be getting all 3 fps games this year and monster hunter 3..........

I really think the wii is going to outsell ps2 by a land slide I think it will beat it by probably 20million or more and november 2014 will be the 8th year for wii not its 10th and I think it could go on over 10years the ds was released about 6years ago in 2004 and its far behind the psp in graphics and for a long time it was far behind in good games also but now its outselling wii with good 3rd party support..........
